Plasma Games Educator Hall of Fame

At Plasma Games, we pride ourselves on being “for teachers, by teachers." With over 60% of our internal team having previous classroom experience, we understand the hard work and dedication that goes into everything done for students, and we want to celebrate that. Each month, we’ll spotlight a teacher using Plasma Games to enhance their students' learning experience.

We are excited to announce our premiere Plasma Games Educator Hall of Fame teacher, Kevin Crowder. Kevin has been teaching 7th-grade physical science for 13 years in the Gasconade County R-2 School District in Missouri.

What’s your favorite part of being a science teacher?

I love the chance to see students explore the wonders of the world through experimentation, trial and error, and exploration.

Most memorable moment in the classroom?

In the science classroom, I love teaching lessons on energy and using the Van De Graaff generator. Students love making chains to other classrooms and shocking their teachers.

What is your favorite Plasma Games resource, and why?

I have many favorite resources on Plasma Games. The Field Guides are very helpful to students, and the Intel Gathering Missions and Card Sort activities are interactive and engaging. My students always love Plasma Games days!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I really appreciate the hard work and effort of the folks at Plasma Games! My students love it, and it has been an invaluable resource for enhancing science learning in the classroom.
